Read Bekah's Bio
Bekah is a passionate gatherer of people, mediocre cook, and a writer that has a lot to say about only a few things. She’s married to Mike, who for the past nine years was an active duty Marine, which means they moved around the country and learned how to make home out of every place they were. Bekah’s book, Almost There: Searching for Home in a Life on the Move (releasing July 2017), was birthed out of this of transience and centers on how we are often forced to move away from things we love--- people and places and parts ourselves that felt certain--- and in the ache of homesickness we discover how Christ is the only sturdy thing. Bekah, along with her husband and two kids, currently live in San Diego, CA but this summer will take on their biggest move yet--- returning home to Colorado. Bekah thinks that faith is a conversation, not a finish line and she write to converse, to process, to excavate the truth of who Jesus is in the center of her ordinary life. Sometimes she gets it right. Sometimes she just asks a lot of questions.
